Step Into Leadership—Join Us as a PA Operations Coordinator in Oswego
We’re on the lookout for someone who’s ready to bring their leadership skills to the next level. If you’re a certified Pathologist Assistant with a knack for organization, a passion for education, and a steady hand in both lab work and operations—this could be your next move.
We’re hiring a Pathologist Assistant Operations Coordinator in Oswego, IL—someone who can guide a strong team while helping shape what the future of pathology looks like in our lab.
Here’s what the role looks like:
This is a leadership-forward position— mostly administrative and operations work with limited hands-on bench work. You’ll be helping manage the day-to-day flow of the lab, coordinate with pathologists and attendings, and keep everything running smoothly. You’ll also contribute your own technical skills where needed, supporting the team from the bench when the moment calls for it.
Beyond that, we’re really looking for someone who’s invested in the growth of the profession—someone who’s been involved in developing or supporting continuing education initiatives. Maybe you’ve hosted lunch & learns, worked with attendings to drive professional development, or even helped build CE programs that serve not just the PA team but the wider staff. That kind of forward-thinking is exactly what we need.
What we’re hoping you bring:
- 3–5 years of leadership experience in a pathology or clinical setting
- Certification as a Pathologist Assistant (required)
- Experience developing or supporting continuing education efforts
- Strong organizational skills and a natural ability to bring structure to evolving programs
- A collaborative mindset and a desire to mentor and uplift your team
The Team:
This is a place that values innovation, education, and teamwork. You'll be helping shape how we grow, learn, and lead as a group. If you’re someone who likes to build things—whether that’s smoother workflows or educational programming—you’ll feel right at home.
We're exploring all the right channels to find the right person, including the potential use of a recruiting agency. If this sounds like your kind of challenge, we’d love to connect.
